as we all know, every character in archlord must have name, and name must start with number or capital letter, followed by numbers and/or small letters. and no matter how hard do you try,m you cannot make character without name or with all small or capital letters.

recently we have spamm bots on Gaiahon server (maybe on other as well, i dont know) without names, or with all small or capital letters. this can be done only by direct access to game database.

also, we have spamm bots that /w you by your name, in my case message is "Hi Iancahides, do you know that cheapest gold is..." etc.

first time i thought that , because im in town someone is sitting behind copm and just put names in template and /w you, but after i reloged it happened several times while i was in desert, all alone (no1 on sight, pretty isolated place) so im more than sure that game database is compromised and used to /w online players. i would like to see official anouncement regarding this matter, or official answer on folowing quiestions:

1. How it is possible to make character without name, without hacking in database?

2. how it is possible to make character with all capital letters in it, without hacking in database?

3. how it is possible to receive /w from spam bot with your name in message, without getting this info from database?

Somehow, it wouldn't surprise me though. We also had in the psat people that input their usual login info, but end up on another random account...

Database security is a myth at CodeMasters...

Yeah its one of two things. 1) it's codemasters own spam bots.. 2) the system was hacked.

Im sure its most likely hacked. Which is scary. If they can do it. So can people in game. They definately need to fix and secure that.

yeah but lets no forget "CM.Company that never fails to fail you" . . .hmm maybe it is CM bots and they make money by selling gold 2?I mean they have nothing to loose only gain money . . .and that archlordmoney site is their property?Who knows /paranoid mode off / oke i was j/k a bit but that is a burining issue @least in my eyes . I wouldnt want no matter how poor my acc is to be pilliaged by some guy that is good at hacking or if some1 logs in my char screen by mistake.
