wireless router

i just moved my comp and put it on a wireless router
how do i lock it so no1 uses it but me? ty all 4 the help

try directly typing the address of your router. Should be something like http://192.168.2.1 or something like that. Should be in the manual of that router.

There, you select security key. Usually WTA(better) or WEP(more commons for non-PC applications, like Wii, PSP, Nintendo DS...)

And then you should be safe Smile

best thing to do when u set the router up is connect it via cable first

setting security setting over wireless is usually crap

most end up being 192.168. 1 or 0.1 now this gets u in and sometimes the default login and passwords are : admin pw: admin
